ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
 

 

DESCRIPTION:


Rated as the top General Contractor in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal, San Jose Construction Co., Inc., is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Project Manager to support a Sr. Project Management Team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

·         Participate in the co-management of multiple projects with a high proficiency

·         PRODUCTION AND TRACKING OF ALL PROJECT PAPERWORK (General Contracts, Subcontracts, RFCs, Change Orders, Meeting Minutes)

·         Manage Submittal and RFI processes

·         Assist with all phases of construction administration, accounting, and job cost reviews

·         Interface with clients, architects, construction managers, and subcontractors

·         Manage document flow between clients, architects, and subcontractors to assist in achieving the successful and timely completion of projects

 

Qualifications

·         Five years minimum experience in the Commercial Building Industry

·         Prefer Commercial General Contractor experience

·         Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills

·         Highly professional written and verbal skills

·         Ability to multi-task and focus in a fast-paced environment

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR


Top Rated Silicon Valley General Contractor is seeking a highly experienced Payroll Administrator to prepare weekly payroll every Monday for approximately 100 employees, including compliance with and filing of all Payroll Taxes and reports.

 

  • Must have an excellent history of attendance
  • Monday and Wednesday attendance id required every week (except holidays & vacations)

 

  • Minimum 3 years State of California payroll experience

 

  • Solely responsible for all payroll and related activities
     
  • Experience with Union Payroll and reports required

 

  • Maintain payroll and accumulation and use of vacations, holidays, sick days, and miscellaneous leaves of absence

 

  • Calculate medical deductions
  • Administer involuntary deductions and levies and / or garnishments
  • Administer voluntary deductions

  • Prepare accounting transactions and documents, update procedures, and prepare special reports for management
